Garbage Pail Kids Giant Stickers Series 1 Wax Box (1985-88 Topps) (BBCE)

In 1986, during the OS2 release, Topps re-released the OS1 Garbage Pail Kids characters as a giant sticker set, the second GIANT GPK set release, with the tagline YOU ASKED FOR IT! YOU GOT IT!, measuring slightly smaller than 5 X 7 inches that were packaged three cards per pack, following the success of the first Giant Series sticker release that had 'ALL NEW!' artwork. Each pack cost 99 and came without twin cards, containing only the A-name cards, and with a checklist printed on the backside of the wrapper. There are two print runs of the Giant 1st Series where #8 ADAM Bomb can be found with two different card backs. Additional sets were requested by upper management during the regular GPK releases to capitalize on the successful sales of the cards during the hype of the parody card craze; including the previous Giant Series and GPK Poster sets.
